We are seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher who can spark curiosity, deliver engaging lessons, and inspire the next generation of scientists.
Job Responsibilities
• Teach Science across relevant year groups in line with curriculum requirements.
• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons.
• Use a range of teaching methods, practical activities and evidence-based strategies.
• Assess, record and report on pupil progress and attainment.
• Maintain strong behaviour management in line with school procedures.
• Set and mark homework; provide written and verbal feedback.
• Use assessment data to inform teaching and personalise learning.
• Attend relevant meetings, Parents’ Evenings and school events.
• Support the pastoral development of pupils as a tutor (if applicable).
• Contribute to curriculum development, schemes of work and departmental planning.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.
