I feel very fortunate to be the Headteacher of such an amazing and unique primary school. I am extremely proud to be able to say I love my job and this love of teaching and learning is shared by all the staff who work here. This genuine passion, joy and enthusiasm is tangible and reflected back by the children we teach. We are a happy place to work and learn in.
Our small size (4 classes), means all staff can really know every individual child and really foster a family feel in and around school. We are invested in the development of the whole child so as well as having high expectations for academic achievement and behaviour, we value how important parents' role is. In addition, we offer a great outdoor learning environment that improves children's wellbeing, social and physical development. We also have a shared language around our learning gems and Christian values that encourage children to be their best selves.
Tickenham Church of England Primary School is an incredibly special place and we are always willing to share it with visitors. We are proud of what we do at Tickenham and confident in our approach.
