The Market Bosworth School is seeking to appoint an exceptional member of premises staff to join our highly successful, thriving school. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the success of the school and will be integral to our future development.
The Market Bosworth School is very proud of its students and staff. We have excellent academic standards and work hard to create a safe and enjoyable learning environment for all. We have been consistently rated as an “Outstanding” school by Ofsted, in 2009, 2012, 2018 and most recently 2024.
This is an exciting time for the School, as we build on our now established GCSE achievements, where we have consistently achieved results within the top 5% of all schools. For our most recent 2026 results, an incredible 90% of all our students achieved a grade 4 or above in English and Maths.
A huge part of our success is the building and site itself. Ensuring the school is welcoming, safe and organised is vital for students and staff. Our premises team are a committed and friendly team who work incredibly hard and are rightly proud of the contribution they make on a daily basis. Specific previous School or Premises experience is less important that the ability to work successfully as part of a dedicated team.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff and volunteers are expected to behave in such a way that supports this commitment. The recruitment process is robust in seeking to establish the commitment of candidates to support the school’s measures to safeguard children and to identify, deter or reject people who might pose a risk of harm to children or are otherwise unsuited to work with them. As this post is required to work in “Regulated Activity” an enhanced DBS with a Barred list check is essential. It is an offence to apply for the role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children (KCSIE 2025). Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a self-declaration of their criminal record or information that would make them unsuitable to work with children. All applications will be considered on their merit and the post will be offered subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including online media checks. Please see the school website for further information regarding safeguarding. https://www.tmbs.leics.sch.uk/docs/policies/Child_Protection___Child_Safeguarding_Policy__.pdf
