Full Time, Permanent. The successful candidate will teach French throughout the age range 11-16 with the possibility to teach some Spanish.

Salary: MPS/UPS plus TLR 2A /2B/2C depending on scope of responsibility

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic French specialist to join our highly successful MFL department, in a school where:

• Staff are nurtured to develop their craft;

• All students study a language to GCSE;

• Languages are valued by the school, students and families alike;

• Resources are centrally and collaboratively planned;

• Results in French have been significantly above national average for many years; progress 8 score of 1.16

• The school’s progress 8 score is significantly above average at +0.75 for two consecutive years and ranked in the top 5% nationally;

• There are excellent CPD opportunities through our professional learning Mondays, weekly learning sessions and CPD Library.

• There is a strong academic ethos and high expectations of students;

• Behaviour management is centralised and teachers are enabled to flourish.

• Middle leaders work collaboratively and are supported by strong senior leadership
