Design and Technology - Food and Textiles
Full time/term time – Maternity cover
Salary: LG Band 3, Points 5-6 (84.76% of full time £19,843 - £20,240 per annum)
Actual Salary: £16,870 – £17,208 per annum

37 hours per week term time (38 weeks per year), Monday to Thursday 8 am to 4 pm (with ½ lunch) and Friday 8 am to 3:30 pm (with ½ lunch) plus additional 18 hours for 3 Professional Learning Days.

We are looking to appoint an experienced technician to support learning in our use in Design Technology faculty, covering all design disciplines. The successful candidate will have

  • a good working knowledge of woods, metals and plastics and relevant associated machinery;
  • an ability to support with preparation of Food Technology lessons
  • ability to use and maintenance of equipment and resources.
  • an enthusiasm and willingness of working with students to support learning and development of core skills in Design and Technology.

The position is available from 25th August 2022

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Disclosure check.
