Teaching Assistant Level 2
Details: permanent, Full Time, Term Time
Start Date: as soon as possible
Salary: Grade 3, Points 5-6 Actual Salary £13,678-£13,952 FTE £19,843 - £20,240
32 hours per week, 20 min break and 30 min lunch daily
30 hours breakdown below and 2 hours a week to be worked as per departmental needs

  • Monday 8:20am to 4:00pm
  • Tuesday 8:30am to 3:00pm
  • Wednesday 8:20am to 3:00pm
  • Thursday 8:20am to 3:00pm
  • Friday 8:30am to 3:00pm

We are looking to appoint a self-motivated individual with an ability to deal positively and sympathetically with students, staff and parents.

We are looking to recruit a teaching assistant to join our passionate and progressive SEND faculty, to help make learning accessible for all students and work on a one-to-one basis with a high needs student. We would like to appoint a positive and enthusiastic person to join our highly supportive and growing team, who wants to work in a school where:

  • strong, positive relationships are a strength
  • students are taught in mainstream lessons which allows them to thrive in a positive and productive learning environment;
  • students of all ages and abilities readily demonstrate an eagerness to learn and make progress across the curriculum;

  • the school’s Progress 8 score is significantly above average at +1.0 for two consecutive years and ranked in the top 5% nationally;

  • all students, teachers and parents share a common vision to "make a positive difference".
