37.5 hours per week, Term Time plus 4 weeks holiday hours Including 3 training days.

Monday to Friday – 7.30am to 3.30pm (with 30mins unpaid lunch)

We are looking to recruit an Office Manager to join our team, to provide efficient administration of key service areas and administration tasks.

The Office Manager will ensure a high standard of service and administrative support is achieved within the Academy’s administrative functions. This includes managing allocated resources effectively, prioritising tasks and workloads, and maintaining clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders. The role carries full management responsibility for the central office staff, including line management of faculty administration, student support, and reception teams.

The Office Manager will ensure that the Academy’s policies and procedures are consistently applied in line with agreed standards and relevant legislation or guidelines. In addition, the postholder will take a leading role in overseeing key dates within the school calendar, ensuring that hospitality and events are well-organised and delivered to a high standard. They will also act as the Educational Visits Coordinator (EVC) lead for the school, taking responsibility for the planning, approval, and compliance of all school trips. The role will also involve supporting and covering staff absences within the administrative team as required, ensuring continuity of service across all areas.

The successful candidate should be able to organise their own workload in a methodical, efficient, and logical manner, whilst maintaining a professional, calm atmosphere in the academy office.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Disclosure check.

This post will involve contact with vulnerable groups (children, young people and/or adults) and is therefore, exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and subject to an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (DBS) Disclosure check. This exemption means that shortlisted applicants for this post will be required to declare all criminal convictions, cautions, reprimands, and bind- overs both spent and unspent in their application, before interview and regardless of the passage of time.
