Senior Deputy Headteacher - School Improvement

We are looking to appoint an exceptional individual who can work in partnership with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team. As a Senior Deputy Headteacher, you will have whole-school responsibility for leading innovation and transforming the curriculum to ensure it is implicit in raising standards and improving outcomes, through outstanding teaching & learning, assessment, and coaching.

Job Purpose:

• Support the Headteacher in developing and implementing the vision and strategic direction of Tor Bridge High. 
• Develop an unapologetically, outstanding and ambitious curriculum which meets the needs of all students.
• Ensure that teaching and learning is inspiring, innovative, engaging and adapted to meet the needs of all students. Creating a culture of excellence in all areas of teaching and learning
• Provide guidance, support and mentorship to staff to foster their professional growth and development
• Designing and delivering innovative professional development programs, implementing best practice in teaching methodologies and promoting collaborative learning environments
• Be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the performance of students and teaching staff, and lead the formation and delivery of improvement strategies where required. 
• Develop and implement an ambitious framework which enables all students to make excellent progress as well as developing their leadership, confidence and resilience. 
• Support the Headteacher in the day-to-day leadership of the school, deputising for them as required. 
• Provide strategic leadership for overseeing and embedding quality and standards in teaching, learning and assessment across Tor Bridge High. 
• Set high expectations for staff and students by modelling the highest of standards and being visible
