Our vibrant, innovative school is located in Pontypool with 366 pupils on roll which includes a full-time nursery. Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior School Support Assistant with proven organisational skills to join the administrative team of this vibrant and happy school.

This role is integral to ensure all financial and administrative systems and processes are led in an effective and efficient way. The successful candidate will also lead, operate, maintain and develop the human resources process and practice of the School in co-operation with the Management team and the Governing Body. You will be expected to work in partnership with relevant members of the Local Authority and to support GDPR and any subject access requests, freedom of information requests and pupil information from police.

A front facing role, you will set the tone of our relationships with families, agencies and the wider community. You will deliver high quality an effective line management to support the School Support Officers and Midday Supervisors and ensure that training, support and supervision are implemented in line with appraisal processes.

We are keen to hear from candidates with relevant office management experience, who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved and with a passion for being at the heart of a school community.
