The Queen Elizabeth Academy are seeking to appoint a Deputy SENDCo to work closely with our talented SENDCo. We are looking for an ambitious, experienced practitioner to provide support with the day to day running of a well-established department. The successful candidate will be someone who will go above and beyond to ensure success for our students in all aspects of their life. You will have excellent people skills to support students effectively in order for them to fully participate in learning. You will be joining an exciting, dynamic department, creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students.

The Queen Elizabeth Academy is an 11-16 mixed academy based in Atherstone with approximately 660 pupils on roll. Following our Ofsted inspection in May 2017, we were shown to be “Good with Outstanding features”, a real testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff and students. In November 2016, as part of the Priority School Building Programme, we moved into brand new premises that have given us access to fantastic new facilities, which really set us apart in the locality.

Our ATT Institute offers hundreds of training events and leadership accreditation qualifications to develop your talent to its full potential.
