The Governing Body of Ysgol Gyfun Tredegar Comprehensive School are looking to appoint an outstanding Data and Exams Officer on a fixed term basis for 12 months initially.  The post is term time only plus 10 additional days at the end of the summer holidays.

The Data and Examinations Officer will provide a service to the Senior Leadership Team and teaching staff in the production and analysis of data relevant to student progress and school effectiveness across the school. He/she will maximise the effectiveness of SIMS software packages and data analysis tools and work with senior staff to ensure the accessibility of these to teaching staff. The post holder will create, oversee and develop the use of complex data for the Senior Leadership Team and the teaching staff, producing clear, concise and accurate information to support senior leaders in raising standards of performance across the school. The Data and Examinations Officer will be responsible for all aspects of the conduct of public examinations of the awarding bodies and all internal examinations.
