Trinity Academy is a highly oversubscribed free school that opened in 2019. We are a values based community that focuses on the learning of all students and staff, that cares deeply for our young people and each other and that is committed to co-curricular enrichment.

In July 2021, the Academy moved into a fantastic £25 million state of the art building with bespoke rooms including a large concert hall, dance studio, 3G pitch and science and art rooms. This is a unique opportunity to oversee the management of fresh, modern facilities in their infancy. There is scope to establish facility management processes and a key area of development is ensuring the building’s energy consumption is as efficient as possible. The school also runs a comprehensive lettings programme 7 days a week which supports the local community and generates essential income for the school.

You will be responsible for the security, functioning, legal compliance and general appearance of the school buildings. You will be based on the school site, supervising 2 full time caretakers. You will plan and prioritise your own workload and be able to provide adequate cover for out of hours lets, school holidays, out of school hours and emergency call out where required. All our professional service staff undertake school duties and are encouraged to contribute to the school’s unique co-curricular provision. As such this role is seen as an integral part of the school’s staffing body.

Applications are welcome from outstanding individuals with a proven track record, who want to join an ambitious and energetic team where they can make a difference.
