IT Support Technician (Truro or Bodmin)
1 x Full Time Based at Truro
1 x Part Time (18.5 hours per week) Based at Bodmin
£20,477 - £22,807 per annum / pro rata

We are seeking to appoint an IT Support Technician to assist with the ongoing maintenance of the computing and associated systems used by the College. The post-holder will work as part of a larger team that provide IT and AV services to all college sites. The ideal candidates will have previous experience in the IT industry and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows based operating systems, Microsoft Office desktop applications, Office 365 and other popular software packages including Adobe Creative Suite.

The successful candidates will be a positive, flexible, enthusiastic and reliable individuals who will work well as part of a team as well as using their own initiative. Applicants should have a good selection of the following skills and experience; excellent telephone manner and face to face communication skills, previous experience working in an IT support role, experience with PC hardware, setup, configuration and repair, experience with supporting Android, iOS and MDM systems. Ideally, the successful candidates would have a driving licence and access to or use of transport would be desirable as the successful candidate will be expected to spend time at other College sites from time to time.
