Part Time Lecturer required in:
Community Studies / Health and Social Care (Truro)
Hourly rate will be based on a band in the range of
£25.17 – £37.38 per hour

We are looking to increase our ‘bank’ of part-time lecturers who can teach within the Community Studies department, with variable and fixed weekly hours available. We deliver a wide range of courses from Level 1 to Level 6, including T levels, BTECs, Access and Foundation Degrees, and the modules taught are all related to Health and Social Care and Childcare, which includes Sociology, Psychology, Health, Youth and Family Work, Team and Communication and Study Skills. Vacancies exist on both our 16-19 (Study Programme) and Adult Provision.

Applicants should be well qualified in the subject area and ideally have a relevant teaching qualification as well as the energy and enthusiasm to contribute to the team as part of an outstanding college. A passion for working within the wider Care Sector and supporting students as they move on to higher level studies or into the workforce is a must. Interviews will take place as and when we receive suitable applications, so this role may close sooner than advertised.

We offer a generous package with benefits including 40 days annual leave plus bank holidays and College closure days, teacher pension scheme, relocation package, free on-site parking and a variety of on-site benefits and discounts.

CLOSING DATE: 12 NOON, FRIDAY 29 OCTOBER 2021
Curriculum Vitae are not accepted, Application Forms only.
Successful candidates will be notified within 4 weeks of the closing date.
