Apprentice Administrative Assistant
Salary: Apprenticeship Grade £6.15 per hour

We require an Apprentice Administration Assistant to join Newbridge Junior School. We are looking for someone who has the drive, passion and skills to work between our infant and junior schools. At our schools, we are very proud to have a diverse school community in which many languages, cultures and religions learn together. Both Penhale and Newbridge are very caring and forward thinking, we invest in our staff and use coaching and mentoring to develop skills and expertise.
We pride ourselves on providing a safe, stimulating, challenging and caring environment where children can develop intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially to be prepared for their future lives.
Your new role will consist of:
• Assisting with preparation for school trips
• Ordering and maintaining stationary and art supplies across both schools
• Typing letters
• Ordering lunches
• Assisting with reception duties
• Helping to update the schools websites
• Using the school's management information system
• General office administration
• Any other duties as required
It is essential that you have good ICT skills and are confident in your ability to learn new systems. You will also have GCSE 9-4/A*-C in English, ICT and maths or Functional Skills Level 2 in all three.
