We can't wait to hear from you!
Two Bridges Academy opened in September 2024 to provide an outstanding and holistic education for our pupils in a brand new, net carbon zero building, with specialist facilities such as hydrotherapy pool, sensory diet area and sensory room. Our vision of ‘achievement and well-being through excellence’ is delivered by our highly skilled and dedicated staff, who work alongside a team of multi-disciplinary professionals to deliver a specialist curriculum that meets the needs of each pupil and inspires them to learn and achieve their full potential. All our pupils have an Education & Health Care Plan, and we provide education to students with Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties and Severe Learning Difficulties. Our core values of integrity, respect and trust underpin everything we do and shape the way we interact with our stakeholders and each other. We place great value on working closely with families to ensure success for every child and to celebrate every achievement together. We are currently developing links with other schools, community groups and training providers to establish meaningful inclusion opportunities and learning experiences which enhance our curriculum offer.
Two Bridges Academy is part of Enable Trust, a growing Trust, whose mission is to work together to provide the best possible outcomes for children and young people in our specialist SEND and Alternative Provision settings. As a family of schools united by our shared values of collaboration, inclusion, relationships, challenge, learning and excellence, our vision is to achieve more together and we have a proven track record of delivering outstanding outcomes within our own settings, whilst working with colleagues in education, health and social care, to promote system-wide improvements for all children, young people and their families. We are immensely proud of our people, who make our vision a reality. Staff surveys and external feedback highlight our positive culture and strong teamwork, and this is evidenced by our high staff retention rates. We believe in rewarding our staff for their invaluable work and our pay structure reflects this, with above average SEN Allowance for teaching staff, and above average pay scales for our support staff. We are committed to a healthy work-life balance and our policies reinforce this objective, with a focus on proactive support and generous leave entitlements. We provide excellent professional development opportunities which enables staff to realise their career aspirations.
