Are you a finance professional who enjoys bringing clarity, insight and confidence to decision-making?
At Enable Trust, everything we do is driven by a shared commitment to achieving the very best outcomes for children and young people. As our Trust continues to grow, we are seeking an ambitious and collaborative Trust Finance Manager to help shape and strengthen our finance function, ensuring that our schools can focus on delivering exceptional education and support for pupils.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a values-led organisation where your expertise will directly contribute to improving outcomes for children and young people across our schools. Working closely with the Director of Finance, you'll oversee the day-to-day management of Trust financial operations, provide expert advice to school leaders, and help ensure that every pound is used effectively to maximise opportunities for our pupils.
Role Overview
As Trust Finance Manager, you will play a key role in leading financial planning, budget management, reporting, compliance and business partnering across the Trust. You'll work alongside Headteachers, budget holders and central teams to provide robust financial information, support strategic decision-making and ensure long-term financial sustainability.
You will also lead and develop members of the Finance Team, helping to create a responsive, customer-focused service that supports schools and leaders across the Trust. As part of a rapidly growing Trust, you'll have the opportunity to influence how services develop, improve systems and processes, and contribute to wider organisational success.
New to Education? We'd love to hear from you…
We welcome applications from qualified accountants and finance professionals looking to make their first move into education from corporate, commercial, public sector or charitable organisations. If you have strong financial management experience, enjoy building relationships with operational leaders and are motivated by making a meaningful difference, we will support you to develop your understanding of the education sector.
