United Colleges Group, formed in 2017, has continued to provide strong education and skills support to the c16,000 learners who we serve every year. We have around 1,000 dedicated, skilled and enthusiastic staff who always put the needs of our students first and we are now looking for HPL ESOL Lecturer for Lifelong Learning (ESOL) to join our cohort of dedicated staff. 

To help ensure that we improve our OFSTED rating UCG have recently reviewed its leadership and management to better reflect our aspirations around the world of work by creating a series of Career Clusters and a Development & Innovation area led by 8 Assistant Principals, who were appointed at the beginning of the last academic year. 

The department of Lifelong Learning (ESOL) is seeking HPL ESOL Lecturers for our highly successful ESOL Programmes. The successful candidate will have extensive ESOL experience and will be based predominantly at either our Willesden or Wembley campus though travel to other sites may be required. The Willesden and Wembley Campuses offer ESOL programmes to both 16-18 and adult learners. Approximately 800 and 600 adult learners at Willesden and Wembley respectively  and 130  and 90 16-18 learners respectively. 

The successful applicant will be involved in Teaching, Learning and Assessment improvement strategies in pursuit of an outstanding student experience.

Tutor rate: £33.69 per hour (Including Holiday Pay) Teaching Rate £28.44 per hour (Including Holiday Pay) Additional Duties rates: £21.78 per hour (Including Holiday Pay).The HPL ESOL Lecturers for Lifelong Learning (ESOL) will; 

• Hold a teaching qualification or equivalent 

• Have excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders

• Have a commitment to meeting the needs of the learners, employers and communities that the Group serves
