HPL Media Lecturer 

 United Colleges Group, formed in 2017, has continued to provide strong education and skills support to the c16,000 learners who we serve every year. We have around 1,000 dedicated, skilled and enthusiastic staff who always put the needs of our students first and we are now looking for a HPL Media Lecturer to join our cohort of dedicated staff.

UCG have recently reviewed its leadership and management to better reflect our aspirations around the world of work by creating a series of Career Clusters and a Development & Innovation area led by 8 Assistant Principals, who were appointed at the beginning of the last academic year.

The Faculty of Creative Industries and A-Levels has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Lecturer in Media. The role will involve tutoring and course management of a Level 1, 2, or 3 vocational programme as well as teaching across multiple programmes including A-Level Media.

The successful candidate should have a degree (or equivalent) in a related area. You should also be familiar with the current UAL curriculum and we encourage applications from teachers with a broad range of disciplines both in practice and theory.

You will have good organisational skills, your ability to work cooperatively and contribute positively and creatively to a team is also essential.

You will also possess a recognised Level 4 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or be willing to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification upon appointment. Excellent communication, administration and interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team and contribute positively and creatively are also essential in this role.
