Term time only plus inset days 

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 8.15am – 3.15pm (less 30 mins unpaid break). Monday to Friday, Term time only plus INSET 

Working as part of the student support team under the direction of the Deputy Headteacher, the postholder will work within our Restart and internal exclusions areas.  The role will involve supporting with academic work, pastoral care, personal development and other support programmes, to enable access to learning for students, and to assist the teachers in the management of students and the classroom.

These areas support students to return to learning in an appropriate manner if they have been removed from class. The post holder will ensure students are supported to reflect upon and learn from their behaviour during period of internal exclusion. The successful candidate will work closely with students who are experiencing difficulty in self-regulating and understanding appropriate behaviour, and will plan 1-to-1/small group behavioural intervention focused on increasing student success within the classroom.
