Holyrood Academy, based in Chard, and Neroche Primary School, based in Broadway, near Ilminster,  in conjunction with the Directors of Uffculme Academy Trust, are seeking to appoint a highly organised and efficient Clerk to support their Local Governing Committees.

We are looking for an effective communicator who is self-motivated and able to demonstrate excellent up to date IT and administrative skills. Duties include preparing and circulating agendas, taking minutes, handling correspondence and dealing with sensitive and confidential information.

The role requires Clerking a total of 11 meetings (6 at Holyrood and 5 at Neroche) within each academic year for 110 hours per year. The hours include meeting preparation time, attending and typing up the meeting minutes and follow up tasks. The meetings take place early evening. Access to the internet is an essential requirement.

We are able to offer an immediate start date

Salary grade; NJC Point 12  - £11.50. The Trust will pay travel expenses to the furthest Trust school.
