Design & Technology Technician

Grade 13 (£21,968 - £24,054 FTE – pay award pending)

Actual starting salary £16,524

32 hours and 30 minutes per week

Term Time plus INSET days (39 weeks per year)

Closing date is Thursday 28th September 2023 at 5pm

with interviews to be held the following week

The Castle School in Taunton is seeking a Design & Technology Technician who is creative, practical and enthusiastic to join our successful, busy school, to start as soon as possible.

The Design & Technology Technician has a valuable role to play in enabling the child in the classroom to succeed. The technician will ensure that resources and equipment are ready and also research topics as required to support lessons.

Applicants should be practical, creative, enthusiastic, flexible, demonstrate initiative and have excellent communication/ICT skills. Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
