We are looking for a brilliant and dynamic English teacher who is passionate about their subject and able to lead by example and inspire others.
Uffculme Academy Trust is delighted to be in a position to offer this opportunity at our East Devon Academy, Axe Valley. This is a particularly exciting period in our development as we develop our partnership with Uffculme Academy Trust. The Multi -Academy Trust currently includes Uffculme School, one of the most successful schools in the country, Holyrood Academy in Chard, Somerset and Uffculme Primary School, as well as a teaching school (WCTSA), thus providing education from 4-19 with exceptional opportunities for career progression. Axe Valley currently has approximately 650 students in Years 7–11. The Academy is located in the East Devon area of the country, in the beautiful market town of Axminster, which is set on the River Axe. Axminster is just a few miles inland from the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site but has excellent rail links to London and Exeter.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to work with the English Department to best meet the needs of our students. This is a part time maternity cover (0.8) and the position is required from approximate late March 2023 to mid December 2023 (exact dates to be confirmed).
