The Directors of Uffculme Academy Trust wish to appoint an outstanding linguist as Teacher of MFL at Holyrood Academy. They are looking for a candidate who is proficient and fluent in at least two of French, German and Spanish to inspire our students to become excellent linguists. The candidate will join Holyrood Academy at an exciting time in its whole-school development journey and for the development of MFL across our Trust.   

This post would be a perfect start for an NQT's career, allowing them to gain a varied experience within a large secondary school which is part of a forward thinking Trust and with the help of a supportive team.

Holyrood Academy is a large 11- 19 over-subscribed Academy situated in South Somerset. In September 2019, Holyrood joined the successful Uffculme Academy Trust which is a MAT of 5 schools delivering education to over 3000 children and young people from ages 2 - 19 within Devon and Somerset.

The Academy benefits from a large and beautifully situated site within easy commuting distance of towns such as Taunton and Yeovil as well as the cities of Exeter and Bristol. Chard is on the edge of the Blackdown Hills and close to the Devon and Dorset coastlines.
