Uffculme Primary School are seeking to appoint a part-time Teaching Assistant with additional mealtime assistant responsibility


Teaching Assistant:

28.75 hours per week, term time only

Grade: B (£9.43 per hour)

Mealtime Assistant:

2.5 hours per week (12:00 – 13:00) term time only

Grade: A (£9.25 per hour)

Required from October 2021. Fixed Term Contract to August 2022.


We are seeking to appoint a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to provide support for individual pupils within mainstream classes in a variety of subjects, mainly literacy and mathematics. The successful candidate will also be a mealtime assistant during lunchtimes to provide our children with a calm and positive lunchtime experience that is safe, sociable, and fun.

A warm, firm, and caring approach to children is essential. No experience is necessary; however, we are seeking someone who is compassionate and wants the very best for children.
