Undershaw is an outstanding school looking for a level 6-7 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic
team.
Undershaw is an independent specialist school where children from Year 3 to Post 16 with mild to
moderate learning difficulties and additional needs, such as ASD, cerebral palsy, hemiplegia, and medical
vulnerabilities can access the national curriculum and qualification pathways in a safe, secure, and friendly
environment.
Wonderful students, supportive staff and an innovative, creative approach await! We are an Educational
Trust with a big heart, wanting the very best for our students. We are looking for a level 6 or 7 OT wishing to
be part of an exciting collaboration with school leaders to develop an innovative department with a neuro
affirming approach, alongside gaining management opportunities to progress your career.
As a Band 6 or 7 Occupational Therapist, you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping our creative therapy provision
and leading innovative initiatives across the school, delivered to a small and focussed case load, working
within HCPC and RCOT standards.
This is not just a job—it’s a chance to lead and collaborate with dedicated
education, SEND, and pastoral teams to create tailored interventions that transform lives. With
opportunities to lead school-wide CPD training and work closely with our Head of SEND, this role is ideal for
either an experienced OT looking for a change or a level 6 OT who is looking to develop their career within a
supportive environment where you can work towards to the next level.
In addition to a competitive salary on our bespoke therapy bands, we offer unparalleled professional
development in a supportive, inclusive culture. You’ll enjoy working in a beautiful setting, benefit from a
Nest Pension Scheme and Smart Clinic support. Join us and be part of a team that’s as committed to your
growth as it is to our students’.
We warmly welcome visits prior to application. Please contact us to arrange!
