We are seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to provide in-class learning support for students. Based at our Uxbridge and Hayes campuses, these varied and interesting roles involve supporting the needs of students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities across all areas of the College’s delivery. You would assist learners to access the curriculum through encouraging, motivating and developing strategies to support learners, and support students to manage their own behaviour. We are also seeking Learning Support Assistants to work in our Foundation provision, which may involve working with learners with more complex needs.
You will need to possess good communication skills, both written and verbal, and have some experience of working with young people, and preferably some experience of supporting people with learning difficulties/disabilities and/or challenging behaviour. You should be able to work effectively as part of a team and be able to motivate and support young people.
The salary range shown is for 18 hours per week, however we are able to offer a different amount of hours depending on successful candidates’ availability, to be discussed at interview stage.
These posts are term time only and for a fixed term until 15 July 2025.
