We require a well organised, flexible and proactive individual to provide administrative support to the School of Hair, Beauty, Hospitality, Early Years and Performance, 10 hours a week during term times.
In this role, you will undertake a wide range of administrative responsibilities including producing correspondence and reports, diary management and communicating effectively with students, staff and parents. You will also actively improve student attendance by identifying and acting immediately on problems relating to student attendance, punctuality and progress. You will engage ‘at risk’ learners in person and over the telephone, monitor and maintain student records.
You will have a minimum of 2 years’ administrative experience, with preferably some experience gained in the education sector. You should also have excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, and will have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and experience of using IT systems/databases. You will be pro-active, a good team player, and able to work flexibly and on your own initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Working days are expected to be Thursdays and Fridays, 9.00am until 2.00pm.
