HRUC is a merged College Group, bringing together Richmond Upon Thames College, Harrow and Uxbridge Colleges. We are now seeking to appoint a Head of School – ESOL, Foundation and Learning Support based at Uxbridge College, Hayes Campus.

Reporting to the Assistant Principal for Supported and Targeted Learning, you will lead a team of Section Managers, Course Team Leaders, Lecturers and support staff. You will be responsible for the full range of provision on full and part time courses, including managing the quality of the provision and maintaining achievement rates. You will lead on development planning in the area and drive the School towards excellence.

The successful candidate will have specialist knowledge in either ESOL or Foundation and Learning Support, with good understanding of the SEND code of practice. You should have good knowledge of relevant awarding body regulations and experience of quality improvement in an FE environment. You will be an outstanding leader with sound judgement and the ability to inspire others.
