HRUC is a successful merged College Group, bringing together Richmond Upon Thames College, Harrow College and Uxbridge College, based across 5 vibrant campuses. Our Technical Apprenticeship School focuses on maximising our links and opportunities with employers in key sectors, encompassing automotive, building services, digital and engineering and ensuring successful apprenticeship provision and future growth.

We’re looking to recruit a motivated, agile manager with experience of delivering apprenticeships. You will be responsible for the curriculum management of Engineering (Mechanical and Electronic) across the Technical Apprenticeship School, building effective working relationships with employers and external bodies and ensuring the highest standard of quality assurance, whilst line managing a team of diverse lecturers and assessors.

You will need to possess a degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related subject, Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, DET) and Assessor and Verifier qualifications. You should have at least 3 years’ experience in teaching or assessing Engineering, with experience of meeting targets and ensuring successful outcomes. You will also have a good understanding of apprenticeship programmes and Apprentice/learner pathways into Standards. You will need to have experience of delivering apprenticeships, together with the ability to engage and lead a team of people to achieve success.
