Victoria Dock Primary School are looking to appoint an Achievement Support Assistant to work 32.5 hours per week, term-time only, to cover maternity leave, commencing April 2024.
Salary: Grade 4, Point 5 £23,500 - Point 7 £24,294 pro rata for 32.50 hours per week, term time only (190 days).
The successful candidate will:
• have appropriate level of numeracy and literacy skills, Grade A-C or equivalent
• have excellent level of communication skills both with adults and young children
• have experience of working with SEND pupils including ASD and learning difficulties
• have a good level of SEND knowledge
• have knowledge of child/communication development
• have the ability to use their own initiative in securing the best for all pupils
• have excellent ICT skills
• have the ability to lead intervention groups
• be a team player with a positive outlook.
