Hours: 32.5 hours/week term time only + INSET days
Salary: SCP 15-18: £23,500 - £24,294, pro rata
Start: 1st September 2024
Position: Fixed Term until 31st August 2025

The school is looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to work with children of a range of ages throughout the school day. The successful applicant will need to be flexible about when and with which year group they work during the school day. The role will also include some outside supervision. As a member of the school team, you should expect your roles and responsibilities (including which classes you might work with) to change over time, adapting to the needs of the children.
You will need to be creative, have a good understanding of how children learn and be able to form excellent relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues. You will be patient, flexible and resourceful, and able to support the school’s ethos. Experience of working with children in schools is essential. At interview, you will be expected to demonstrate your ability to lead a learning activity with a group of children.
