Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Maths Faculty)
Grade 6 – £26,409 - £27,711 (pro-rata)
Progression to Grade 8 on completion of HLTA qualification.
8am – 4pm Monday - Friday: Term-Time only
We are seeking to appoint a HLTA to support students both in class and to deliver interventions to small groups within the school/SEND/Maths faculty. Applications are invited from people who have the following skills & experience:
◼ Enthusiasm and a desire to learn;
◼ The ability to encourage students to become independent;
◼ Planning and delivering Numeracy/Maths to small groups across KS3 and KS4
◼ Knowledge of a range of SEND profiles and how to support them
◼ Leading small groups, supporting student’s personalised learning programmes
◼ Line managing a small team in the day-to-day planning and deployment.
Applicants will need to have had experience as a Learning Associate/Teaching Assistant. Applicants should be prepared to provide personal care for students with disabilities.
