About us

Moving Forward Together To Develop Confident, Independent Learners

Our school is moving from strength to strength through each new phase of its journey. Whilst Literacy and Numeracy will always be at the heart of on-going improvements, our attention is also given to developing the creative side of the curriculum, building on the already successful school themes, developing Science, Design Technology, Art and Music. We aim to provide a wealth of experience for all children through an enriched curriculum.

Within its caring and friendly environment, we aim to attain high standards of achievement and behaviour. Warboys Primary Academy has great strengths in supporting children whatever their circumstances. We aim to cater for the needs of all our pupils through our pastoral care and by adapting the curriculum to suit individual needs, thus ensuring all pupils can develop and make good progress. We strive for our pupils to leave us as articulate, responsible, skilled, independent learners who are confident to take advantage of every opportunity available to them throughout their lives.

Working For Us

What we stand for

Warboys is located within a triangle of larger towns and cities. Huntingdon and St. Ives are less than 10 miles away, with Cambridge and Peterborough within 20 miles. There are good road and rail links for travel throughout the county and direct links to London. Warboys is on the edge of the Fens and therefore our catchment area is from village and rural locations with some children arriving by taxi from Warboys Fen, Old Hurst and Woodhurst.

One of the key strengths of our school is the authentic relationships that exist throughout the community. Our core values are evident in every aspect of our work with team work and support being key to staff retention and well-being. We put people first and provide opportuntitites for all individuals to make a positive contribution, feel valued and grow together. We are proud of our school and are happy to share it with visitors who may be interested in joining us.

We are “Moving forward together to develop confident, independent learners” through our shared values of warmth, pride and aspiration. We believe that it is the right of every child to receive an outstanding education which nurtures their personal development; sets high expectations and raises aspirations.

We build relationships rooted in kindness and trust.
We are kind, caring and compassionate, believing that all people have the right to be treated with respect. We work in an open and honest way, placing trust in ourselves and each other.
