Welcome to West Byfleet Infant School, a school that puts children at the centre of our learning community; we look to develop the whole child and our school is one in which every person matters. We provide education for 4-7 year olds, with three form entry accommodating 270 pupils on roll, and collaborate closely with West Byfleet Juniors and other local schools to enhance the learning experience of our pupils. We are based in a lovely village school building which has been extended to include facilities such as a sports hall, library, sensory suite, well equipped classrooms and wonderful outdoor areas.

We aim to provide the highest quality of education for all the children in our school; ensuring their social, emotional and academic development is a key focus. We offer a vibrant curriculum with engaging projects, large outdoor learning spaces and well resourced classrooms. Our philosophy is to always aim for children to 'know more and remember more' from every experience.

West Byfleet Infant School was built in 1914. We celebrated our 100th birthday in August 2014! In Sept 2016 we completed our transition to three form entry, following extensive building works and internal remodelling.  This has given us some wonderful facilities, including a modern multi use hall, sensory area, library and additional classrooms. Our exceptional team of Teachers are supported by a strong and experienced team of LSAs and SNAs and are provided with regular release time to fulfill their responsibilities.  We have a strong commitment to teamwork and wellbeing.  We are supported by an experienced and highly effective group of Governors, supportive parents and Parents and Friends Association.
