ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

We are looking to appoint an exceptional and dynamic candidate to join our Senior Leadership team. The successful candidate will assist the Principal by providing leadership that positively encourages and empowers students to achieve their full potential. They will have a proven track record of leadership and positive outcomes in education. Enthusiastic and optimistic for the future, the new Assistant Principal will be eager to build on and develop fresh ideas in a successful and innovative environment, whilst upholding the highest expectations.
We pride ourselves on the family feel of the school, where the pastoral care for our students is excellent. Our students’ attendance is in the top 25% of all schools nationally, and our progress scores are consistently the best in the area, 2023 at +0.3, which puts us above national average.

Welland Park is an over-subscribed, successful Academy for students aged 11-16 years with a thriving community engagement, in an expanding market town of South Leicestershire. The Academy was judged to be Good by Ofsted in July 2019 and has gained a number of awards over time including the Wellbeing at School Award, Anti-Bullying (Gold), Matrix CEIAG Award, Healthy Schools Award and International Schools Award.
