We are looking to appoint a well-qualified teacher of English who, under the guidance of the Curriculum Director of English, will teach across the age and ability range. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the curriculum in Key Stage 5 across a range of qualifications offered by the team, and will support the Curriculum Director in raising standards in Key Stage 4. As a teacher in our school, you will be responsible for ensuring that every student enjoys an excellent experience in your lessons and will work closely with the rest of the team in delivering engaging learning activities.
If you are a highly effective teacher, able to form excellent educational relationships with students and are able to contribute to the development of schemes of learning, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities will include monitoring and evaluating student progress and leading the development of teaching, learning and assessment in Key Stage 5. As a leader in our school, you will work closely with Deputy Directors from other curriculum areas in developing and improving teaching and learning and will be responsible for ensuring that every student enjoys an excellent experience across their English lessons. The ability to teach English to both GCSE and A-Level is essential.
