LSA (Learning Support Assistant) 1:1 support
West Byfleet Junior School are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, committed Learning Support Assistant.
LSA specifications: An LSA who has experience of supporting an EHCP child with complex social and emotional needs.
You will be supporting the child’s focus and attention during class work and motivating them to complete tasks. Alongside developing the child’s emotional literacy and providing strategies for self-regulation. This role requires break and lunchtime cover to enable the pupil to have positive interactions with other children.
The successful candidate will be; calm, flexible and patient. They should be able to successfully work as part of a team, be confident to feed back to parents and follow advice from outside agencies.
Experience of supporting a pupil with Autism is essential.
