Do you have experience of working with young people with social, emotional and mental health needs?

Would you like to work in a school that offers a holistic approach to supporting students’ needs?

West Heath School is a challenging place to work, but our dedicated staff rebuild lives through education. As part of the team teaching respect, encouraging responsibility, building relationships and developing resilience in our students our committed, dynamic, resourceful staff find the work rewarding. All our learners have EHCPs, and we work towards the end goal of helping students re-integrate into mainstream learning and preparation for adulthood.

If you can make an impact and would like to be part of our journey to support students’ lives we are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join the multi-discipline Therapy Department as part of our Ofsted rated outstanding provision.

The Therapy Department supports students across the school delivering personalised therapy programs both within the therapy department and by working together with the curriculum team.

As well as working in an incredibly rewarding environment our benefits include free lunches, generous workplace pension, access to employee assist program, onsite parking, charity discounts and access to the swimming pool.

There are excellent opportunities for career development and training from internal and external experts, including 10 days of staff training per year.

If this sounds like a role you would be interested in, either in a full or part time capacity, please apply today.
