About Westminster Kingsway College:

Westminster Kingsway is an award-winning further education college in central London with centres in Camden and Westminster. The College offers a huge array of academic and vocational courses from entry levels right through to HE for young and adult learners. These include foundation learning, A-Levels, BTECs, Apprenticeships, Access to Higher Education, and Degree Programmes. The College also works closely with all stakeholders and offers bespoke training and development programmes.

About the role:

We are seeking to appoint suitably qualified and skilled Curriculum Managers to be responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of a range of course programmes. You will provide subject specialism and leadership and ensure excellent teaching, learning, assessment and quality assurance. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to act flexibly in order to adapt to a frequently changing work environment and priorities. You will be an enthusiastic, inspiring and inclusive manager, with demonstrable experience of leading and motivating teams. Demonstrating an aptitude and track record of driving continuous performance improvement, you will be a strong communicator with extensive experience in specialism.

The ideal candidate will possess all or most of the following:

• Substantial teaching experience, some of which should be in Further Education

• Experience of leading a team/tutoring experience

• Curriculum leadership/coordination experience

• Up to date knowledge of the relevant subject area

• Good pedagogic practice

• Relevant assessors’ awards or a willingness to work towards these

• A recognised teaching qualification

• A strong commitment to safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults
