Our school aims are best summarised by our motto, 'Inspired to Achieve'. During their time with us, we will inspire children to achieve across all areas of the curriculum - as scientists, artists, historians and writers (to name but a few). Reading sits at the heart of our curriculum and we aim for every child to develop a love of books and a fascination with the new worlds and information books open up to them.

At Wheatfield we have four core values which underpin the way we learn and live together:

From their first days in Reception, children learn about our values and how these inform their attitudes, behaviour and relationships with others.

Wheatfield has an excellent team of dedicated professionals - we pride ourselves in our close and supportive relationships with our families and wider community.

Wheatfield Primary School is a proud founding member of The Leaf Trust, established on 1 September 2023. The Trust comprises 17 schools — 13 primary, two infant, and two junior — and is committed to creating exceptional learning environments that serve and reflect our local communities.
