Job Title: Behaviour Base Manager

Line Manager: Assistant Headteacher Behaviour & Culture

Hours: 37 Hours per week. Term Time plus 5 days.  8.30am until 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am until 4pm Friday (30 minute unpaid lunch)

Salary Scale: Grade 13 £22,254 - £24,098 actual, based on full time equivalent £25,989 - £28,142.  For exceptional candidates a Grade 12 will be considered £25,488 - £27,453 actual, based on a full time equivalent of £28,598 - £32,061.

Job Purpose:

To lead and manage our Compass Room as a high quality behaviour resource base that promotes a calm, structured and reflective environment where students are supported to regulate their behaviour and continue their learning. The role is responsible for ensuring the consistent implementation of behaviour systems and interventions, maintaining high expectations of conduct and engagement, and progress targeted support.

Working collaboratively with senior leaders, pastoral teams and external agencies, the Behaviour Base Manager will use data informed approaches to identify needs, implement effective interventions and support reintegration into mainstream lessons. The postholder will also contribute to whole school behaviour culture by coaching staff, engaging families and ensuring that all students are given the opportunity to succeed both academically and socially.
