Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Reports to: SENCo, Class Teacher, Head Teacher
Hours: This is a term-time position (38 weeks, excluding INSET Days), working 30 hours per week. Applications for part time hours also considered.
Job Purpose: The Learning Support Assistant (LSA) will provide tailored support to students across the school, with a particular focus on improving transitions for our younger students in the lower years. The post holder will support the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of students, with interventions designed to meet the needs of the primary curriculum. The role involves working to promote student engagement with lessons and school life, helping students meet the demands of the curriculum while supporting their progress in key areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in primary education and experience in delivering interventions that support younger students’ learning and development.
