Higher Level Teaching Assistant/s needed!

William Cobbett Primary School is a thriving school in the north of Farnham, Surrey with 507 pupils on role.  The school is set out over two sites which share a boundary and has excellent facilities and grounds.  We also have an ASD Centre with inclusion being a very important part of school life.

We are looking for a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to provide classroom support, lead PPA sessions and provide first day cover for teaching staff.  You will also be required to run intervention sessions.  We require someone who is calm, nurturing, resilient and flexible and has experience of working with children at primary age.

Skills and experience required

  • Experience of working with children with additional needs would be beneficial
  • Someone who takes initiative and is able to adapt and think ‘outside the box’.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Minimum of A-C grades in Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent)
