About the School  

William Ellis School is a thriving, voluntary aided, non-denominational, inclusive comprehensive boys’ school serving the educational needs of boys from the ages of 11 to 18. It is an attractive site on the edge of Hampstead Heath with excellent access to Central London. About the role  

We seek an enthusiastic Teacher of Art and Design Technology. An exciting opportunity for the right person, someone who loves their subject, subscribes to our ethos and passionately believes that every young person can grow and develop through art, craft and design. The school is committed to a rich and stimulating arts provision and there are opportunities for the successful candidate to build on what has already been achieved. 

Art and Design Technology are offered as separate subjects at KS3, taught by specialists. At KS4 we currently offer Art and Design and Graphics and in the sixth form our programme currently includes Level 2 BTEC Art & Design and A level Art and Design: Graphics. Level 3 BTEC Art and Design, A level Fine Art and A level Photography are provided by other schools in our consortium. Departmental facilities are good with spacious and well equipped studios and workshops.
