Hours: 36.25 hrs per week - Term time only, 39 weeks per year.
Hours of work: 08:00 – 11:45 Nursery Key Worker Role plus Monday 15:45-16:15 and Wednesday 15:45-16:30 for planning and curriculum meetings @ pay scale ME6 Point 7
12:30 - 15:45 Reception Teaching and Learning Assistant @ pay scale ME5 point 5
Salary: Merton pay scale ME6 point 7 (for 20 hrs per week, term time) £15,051
Merton pay scale ME5 point 6 (for 16.25 hrs per week, term time) £11,886
Combined take home pay £26,938 per annum
We are an Ofsted Outstanding, happy and inclusive three-form entry community primary school. We seek an enthusiastic and motivated Early Years Teaching and Learning Support Assistant to support in Nursey in the mornings and Reception in the afternoons.
We are looking to recruit an educator who is experienced and knowledgeable in children’s early learning and development. Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, organised and strong team players. In the Nursery mornings, you will be leading a group of up to 13 children supporting them in their learning, which includes having responsibility for keeping assessment records and liaising/meeting with parents/carers.
Minimum Qualifications:
• NVQ Level 2 Childcare or equivalent
• Maths & English GCSE (at grade C/4 or above)
