JOB OVERVIEW

An opportunity has arisen to join Winford Primary School near Bristol to support the teaching and learning of a child in a 1:1 capacity. This role is varied, and we are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual able to cope with constantly changing priorities.

The post hours are Monday to Friday 8:30-15:00

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Working with a Year 2 child to meet learning, social and emotional needs
  • Accompanying groups on trips.
  • Supporting assessment and evidencing learning
  • Working with the teacher to help plan and deliver level-appropriate learning
  • Maintaining a safe and positive environment

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.
  • Previous childcare or school experience.
  • a proven ability to work on their own initiative.
  • a high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults.
  • the ability to use relevant technology/equipment.
  • a can-do attitude.
