Contract: fixed term From September 2021 until August 2022
Hours: 6 per week (evenings), term time only + 5 days (39 weeks)
Salary: G9, £3,080.32 per annum, rising to £3,538.27 per annum through annual increments (£22,183 to £25,481 FTE)
We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced administrator to join the Swim Academy Team at Winterbourne Academy from September 2021.
The Swim Academy has been closed for over 1 year due to the global health pandemic and government restrictions, so will be re-launched in September. Therefore, it would be beneficial that where possible the successful candidate would work some hours in June/July on a casual basis in order to support the Commercial Operations Manager in preparing for the re-launch.
The contract on offer will be fixed term until August 2022.
The post-holder will oversee the daily operations of lessons, create and implement swim instructor training and provide information to the public about the programme. They should also ensure all safety and teaching guidelines are followed and conduct regular evaluations to ensure operational standards are consistently applied.
The post-holder should also be willing to provide cover for Swim Teachers during periods of sickness, and staff shortages where operationally possible (paid at the relevant rate of pay for a level 2 Swim teacher, currently £15.33 per hour).
