£20,441 FTE pro rata – Hourly rate of £10.60
Location: Kings Priory School, Tynemouth
Hours of Work: Part Time (1 post 16.25 hours, 1 post 10 hours)
We wish to appoint two outstanding Kitchen Assistants for maternity cover to join our Catering Department covering 3 outlets at the Kings Priory School sites. The post will include use of IT, food handling, preparation, service and cleaning. The successful candidate will be a highly committed, motivated and energetic team player who is able to make a full contribution to the provision of excellent school food. Working to the structure of the School Food Plan, food safety, health and safety and allergen legislation to provide school food that is nutritious and appealing. Experience of working in catering, safely to a budget is preferable. The posts will involve working independently, contributing to a varied food offer to all pupils, staff and visitors. The ability to communicate well within the team is essential. The posts are for maternity cover with weekly hours as follows:
16.25 hours per week
10 hours per week

Some flexibility to work additional hours may be required to cover staff absences or school events and functions.
