Cover Supervisor

£23,620–£25,409 pro rata, per annuum

Hours of Work: 32.50 hours per week, term time only

Kings Priory School wishes to appoint a Cover Supervisor to supervise classes during periods of short-term teacher absence in order to contribute to the smooth running of the school.

The successful candidate will have high expectations of pupils in terms both of their learning and behaviour. Candidates will need to be able to establish productive working relationships with pupils and set very high standards of their own personal behaviour in order to act as effective role models to pupils. The role may involve other aspects of school supervision as part of your timetable. These would be agreed with the principal based on your experience. Previous experience of invigilating or working in an education setting is therefore preferable but not essential. You will report to our Cover Manager and appropriate training for the role will be given.
